The Arnside and Silverdale area is the perfect place for any nature or wildlife lover, with an abundance of wonderful flora and fauna to be seen. When walking in Silverdale and neighbouring Arnside, be sure to keep an eye out for butterflies, birds and wildflowers.
Silverdale is home to a fantastic nature reserve that you can visit, RSPB Leighton Moss, which is the largest reed bed in North West England perfect for catching starling murmurations in the winter months.

The Silverdale Art Trail usually takes place on the last weekend in June, and artwork is exhibited in locations across the village, including artists’ homes and studios, outdoors, and in schools.
