Welcome back to Holgates Cottage Collection

Our holiday cottages are now open and we are excited to be welcoming back our guests, allowing you to stay in our splendid self-catered holiday cottages in Silverdale, Arnside and the surrounding areas. On this page, you will find details on what has changed to keep everybody safe and the ‘new normal’ we are now getting used to. We suggest checking in on this information regularly.

There is nothing more important than the safety of people visiting our parks. Over the last few months we have been working hard to adapt our facilities, discovering ways to keep everyone safe with as little impact on holidays as possible.

Checking In

If staying in Hollins Cottage, please check in direct with the park. Otherwise, we ask you visit our main reception at Silverdale Holiday Park to receive your keys and learn more about what’s new at Holgates.

We need your help

In order to keep our parks open during current events, we ask that if you visit our parks you adhere to our guidelines and be respectful of other guests and social distancing rules.

Safety measures being introduced

We have introduced the following measures to ensure the safety of our guests:

✔ We have strict hygiene routines across our cottages in addition to the already thorough cleans we carry out daily
✔ Social distancing measures have been put in place around our parks if you are visiting. This will include all facilities operating at a lower capacity with floor markings in areas where there is likely to be a queue such as our park receptions and shops
✔ Safety screens are now in place in all areas necessary, including our main reception and bar as we look ahead to opening more and more facilities
✔ Hand sanitisers have been placed around our parks for customers to use
✔ You will also find information throughout our parks and buildings explaining the safety precautions all visitors to the parks must work towards

✔ Enjoy your cottage and their outside areas.
✔ Enjoy the villages surrounding our cottages, observing social distance at all times.
✔ Bring soap, hand sanitiser, gloves, toilet roll and disinfectant (just to be on the safe side & especially if it will make you feel more comfortable).
✔ Remember we are here! Our team are always happy to help if you have any queries or concerns.
✔ If ordering takeaway food from Silverdale Holiday Park, maintain social distance whilst collecting.

Please do not

❌ Meet or gather with friends in a social group.
❌ Invite or entertain visitors.
❌ Allow children to roam unsupervised outside the boundary of your cottage, so that they do not break social distancing rules (even if it is by accident!)

Please take your own precautions when playing and spending time outdoors if visiting our holiday parks nearby, supervising children where you feel necessary.
